Explore Acadia on a Full-Day Small-Group Tour and Hike in Bar Harbor, Maine

Summary: This was a memorable tour, all thanks to Hailey. She was very knowledgeable, passionate, and knew all the best spots. Honestly, words cannot describe how perfect the day was. We had a small group consisting of just me and another woman. Some of the spots we visited included Sand Beach, Little Hunters Beach, Bass Harbor Head Light Station, and Cadillac Mountain. We also had a quiet and calm lunch along the Ship Harbor Trail. As a solo traveler without a car, I may not have been able to visit some of these spots without a car, and for that reason, I'm grateful to have booked this tour. On top of that, Hailey went above and beyond, sending me recommendations on spots to visit for the rest of my Acadia trip. I would 100% recommend Good Trip Adventures, especially for solo travelers.

Summary: We had Asher on our day trip around Acadia. They knew the park like the back of their hand. It was an amazing time for my mom and me. We both loved learning as much as we could about the history of the park and its nature. We would highly recommend asking if Asher is available for your tour. Having Asher made it all the better. They were very adaptable to our skill level and tailored the day perfectly. They also took some amazing photos of my mom and me which added a lot.

From the moment Asher welcomed us, it was clear we were in for something special. Asher's friendly, genuine approach immediately made us feel comfortable and excited for the day ahead. We did two beautiful hikes, each offering stunning views and unique scenery that only someone as passionate as Asher could highlight. What made the experience truly memorable was Asher’s deep knowledge of the area—Asher shared fascinating stories about the local wildlife, geology, and history that brought each stop to life. Asher’s tips and insights made the hikes engaging and fun for all of us, regardless of our hiking experience. We wrapped up the tour at Cadillac Mountain, and the view was absolutely breathtaking—a perfect ending to a perfect day. It felt like a personalized celebration, surrounded by nature’s beauty, with Asher making sure we enjoyed every moment. This experience exceeded all our expectations. Asher’s warmth, expertise, and genuine love for the outdoors made my birthday truly special. I can’t recommend Good Tour Adventure and Asher enough for anyone looking to explore Bar Harbor in a way that’s both beautiful and meaningful.

Summary: This is a must do tour. Our guide Ash was absolutely fantastic. She made us all feel like family from her first smile and asking all about the 6 of us. Her knowledge of the park and history came so naturally you would have thought this young woman had lived there her whole life! When she spoke, nothing sounded like a "memorized speech" at each stop. She also knew so much more than just the history, stopping at plants and trees explaining the differences. Ash showed us the different kinds of kelp, differences in rock formations and color and how they were formed. It appeared she had degrees as a naturalist, botanist, marine biologist, and geologist which she did not, but certainly studied all these areas extensively. Ash truly made Acadia come alive for all of us. On a scale of 10, Ash was an 11, so as for her if possible!! She was a true gem.

Summary: Ash was the best guide I have ever had on a trip! She is very kind and had the understanding of the capabilities/limits of the individuals in our group. She is knowledgeable and went above and beyond the expectations I thought I would get out of doing the tour! She explained in details of everything we saw including things such as different types of rocks and how they were formed, trees, plants, etc that was on the paths. She often asked if we wanted our picture taken in breathtaking places on the rocks and by the water. I haven’t met someone who is enthusiastic in teaching people all of her knowledge as Ash! She is a remarkable person…I can’t say enough about her! She made our tour exceptionally fun and informative! Thanks Ash!
