Summary:
My wife, 8-year old daughter and I loved this day. We went for the private option and got picked up from our hotel by the lovely Omar. A couple of photo stops en route before a stop for a simple breakfast and tea on the terrace at the Argon Oil cooperative. Quality (expensive!) products on display but no obligation to buy. We then headed into the High Atlas mountains to Imlil for a walk to the waterfall and lunch. The walk was guided by the super friendly Babala who led us along the rocky footpath up to the waterfalls. The walk was about 3.5km and was pretty steep in places and although the falls were a bit busy and underwhelming the views of the valley below were worth it. Lunch was fantastic - great tagine with epic views of the valley from the terrace. On the way back to Marrakesh was daughter's highlight - the camel ride! We had about 20 minutes on the camels. This was plenty for us before we headed back to the hotel. All in all this was a great day. Departing at 9.30am we got back to the hotel around 5.30pm exhausted but fulfilled as we achieved so much in a day. Incredible value for money.

We had a great trip today with our guide Hamza Talaoul. He was so knowledgable and made our trip so enjoyable. We saw lots of sights in the mountains, the lunch was good and my son really enjoyed the camel ride. We would highly recommend this tour, great value for money and the tour guide really looks after you!
