Summary: We enjoyed a wonderful experience on our tour with "Father Harry," as he is affectionally called, as our driver/guide. Harry is very personable, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable, and his warm hospitality made us all quickly feel like long-time friends. The tour was nicely paced with lots of stops for photos and breathtaking views. One of the highlights of our trip was seeing a large moose on the side of the road in Cape Breton Highlands National Park.

Summary: We were touring Nova Scotia and the top of our list was the Cabot Trail. With only a day in the Baddeck and Cape Breton and the Trail being so long, we decide to tour with this group and glad that we did - worth every penny Bruce picked us up at the Baddeck visitor center. We took Bar Harbor ferry the afternoon before and spent the night in New Glasglow ... be forewarned it is a long ride from Yarmouth to Baddeck and this tour starts 9 am sharp Bruce is a local expert and super nice guy - who guided along a 180 ride with great stop along the way, with a great lunch stop. We had a warn sunny day and everything was spectacular. THANKS !!!

Summary: Did this tour yesterday, and it was such a memorable experience! Our guide, Harry, was absolutely fantastic — knowledgeable, engaging, and so easy to talk to. You can tell he genuinely loves and enjoys sharing its stories, history, and hidden gems. The entire tour was well-paced, comfortable, and beautifully planned. There was rain forecast and he took that into account, doing the West side first then East since the rain will hit the West side first. We had plenty of time to take in the breathtaking scenery, stop for photos, and enjoy the viewpoints without feeling rushed. Harry’s commentary made the long drive feel short — he had a great mix of local insights, humor, and fun facts that brought the trail to life. I also appreciated the personal touches — from the thoughtful stops to the way Harry made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. By the end of the day, it felt less like a tour and more like a road trip with friends. If you’re visiting Cape Breton and want to see the best of the Cabot Trail without the stress of driving, I highly recommend Cabot Discovery Tours. Ask for Harry if you can — he really makes the experience special!
