Explore Sukhothai Historical Park by Bike: Book a Full-Day Cycling Tour from Central Pattaya

Summary: This tour has been one of the highlights of our time in Thailand to date, so can definitely recommend it as the perfect way to explore the best sights of Sukhothai while supporting a local family run business. Our guide, Miaow, was fantastic and had a wealth of knowledge on Sukhothai and Thailand, both past and present. The bikes and helmets were in excellent condition and they cater for all abilities and ages (our 6 year old had a blast riding on a trailer bike behind her Dad). Exploring the Sukhothai Historical Park together with riding through local villages and paddy / agricultural fields and recharging with plentiful snacks and cold drinks and a scrumptious lunch and refreshing smoothie at a local restaurant (all included in the price) make this a great day out.

Summary: Incredibly nice tour in old Sukhothai, a fresh combo of history and contemporary life of the people (an adapted program).Truly amazing guide Miaow and Jib made it into a great experience. The local refreshments were superb and the lunch restaurant was also excellent! Must do experience

Summary: Our guide Miaow was the best. As a true local working for a local company she knows everything there is to know and her English is really good. Because of her English skills you can actually have a conversation with her, which we loved. Great tour, great sights, great food. Everything's perfect!

Summary: This was the best tour of my life. Sukhotai's ancient city is filled with magic and mystery. Our tour guide - Miaugh (not sure if this is the correct spelling) is the best guide in the world. She is very knowledgeable and we didn't want her to stop talking because her manner of telling the stories is unique and very soothing. If you're coming to Sukhotai this tour is a MUST! 100/10

Summary: This tour was the best!! Chip and Kob took us out to their old neighborhood in wich they grew up in. We’ve seen the most beautiful scenery’s met the most incredibly lovely people and ate the best food!! The Sukhothai Historical Park was absolutely amazing and the stories that came with it, told by Chip, were wonderful. We are literally speechless and feel very blessed to have had this experience that we will never forget 🙌🏼

Summary: I use Tripadvisor to book activities on vacation frequently, but I don't usually write detailed reviews. I feel compelled to now because this was an absolutely incredible experience. Biking was such a great way to explore the area, and the terrain is very flat and not too strenuous to move through. It felt like such a wonderful change of pace coming from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok to explore the beautiful back roads of rural Thailand. The historical park was exactly as amazing as expected, and the restaurant where we stopped for lunch had fantastic food. It felt like the definitive Sukhothai experience, exactly what I was hoping for. But the best part of that experience was with Jib and Miow. Locals in the area, they were responsive, informative, helpful, kind, fun and passionate about sharing their love for their history and culture and community. I was the only one who signed up for the day, but rather than cancel, I was given the tour one-on-one. After the tour concluded, they even helped me plan out the rest of my stay. I felt like a VIP from the beginning to the end. I truly could not have asked for a better experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Thailand.

Summary: It was a lovely day out. Jib gave us so much valuable information and history, and also about his own monastic life in younger days. The cycling is easy, flat, and i would have done the evening tour too if id had time. Highly recomment Jib and Miow.

Summary: MEOW was amazing- so knowledgeable of the history of the area- she provided a tour with insights about the area farmers, Budism, Hindi, temples which paint a beautiful picture of Thai people…Thank you Meow and team!!

Summary: The cycle tour was fantastic, we highly recommend it. The guide’s name was Miaow (which made us smile). She was enthusiastic, knowledgable and made every effort to ensure we were happy. She shared a huge amount of information not only about the temples we were looking at but the rich Thai history and Thailand today. The bicycles were excellent, lots of gears, matched to your height and everything well set up and adjusted. It was super hot - 38oC - but Miaow brought cold drinks, icy towels and would stop in the shade whenever possible, which made the heat manageable. The lunch stop was great, with a local appetiser made with papaya which was scrumptious and tasty cooling smoothies. If you’re in two minds about booking, don’t be, the day is thoroughly enjoyable and excellent value.

Summary: Would 100% recommend this tour without hesitation. We had an incredible experience with our tour guide Jib, who took my partner and me around the local villages, rice fields and historical park. Jib was highly knowledgeable of his hometown, and his love and enthusiasm for the place was infectious. He was such an attentive guide, teaching us about local practices, history and religion, introducing us to people along the way, and making sure we had water at all times. He also packed a cool box full of soft drinks and snacks for us to have a picnic. In the historical park, Jib really took his time to explain to us the history of Buddhism and the temples and was more than happy to answer any questions. After the historical park, Jib took us to a local, family run restaurant for a delicious Thai lunch, ordering ahead of time to make sure we had fresh appetisers on arrival. It was a genuine pleasure to meet Jib and to do the tour, and it’s hard to imagine a tour company that cares more about its work.
