Hiking in Budapest

Summary: This was the perfect way to get out of the city center and explore more of Budapest. Laszlo was the most wonderful guide, he was simply the best & so knowledgeable about Budapest as well as all the flora and fauna! So many moments were so beautiful and Laszlo made sure we saw them all, even helping us get the best photo. The meeting spot was central and easy to find and then we hopped on a bus out of the main city center. The hike was a good distance but not too strenuous. We spent about 4 hours with stops for snacks and water, which was perfect. Laszlo is the ultimate guide, so knowledgeable. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone interested in a change of pace from the city and to get a different view and understanding of Budapest!

Summary: I did this tour with my parents and we all found it very enjoyable. It's a great option for anyone who likes spending time in nature and wants to see a different side of Budapest. Our guide was very informative and knowledgeable, making the hike both interesting and fun. Along the way, we learned about different types of mushrooms and trees, as well as some interesting facts about Budapest in general. One thing I thought was particularly cool was learning about an app that can identify different bird species from their sounds - we even got to try it during the hike! The Buda Hills are beautiful, and the tour offered a nice balance of walking, learning, and enjoying the scenery. Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience and one that I'd happily recommend to anyone looking to spend a few hours outdoors while learning something new.
