Summary: It’s an amazing hike. We had John as our guide and Victor as our translater and Sandra as our cook. They did an excellent job. John is super knowledgeable and very credible as he and his family grew up on the mountain. He told us a lot of stories and showed us a lot of things in the nature. Victor is a really good translater. It’s not easy to translate and also make it flowy in English, but he did that amazingly. Sandra was just an amazing cook. Like all the food was delicious.

Summary: An opportunity of a lifetime and worth every penny. The price is set because of donations towards the indigenous communities and the restoration of the land. I decided to book solo and was recommended Magic tours and José Garcia who did not disappoint! I was in a group of 8 people and the two tour guides José and Sebastián who were both wonderful and I would count as great friends ☺️. The tour was 4 days and I found the walk extremely challenging with lots of up and down, I was often slower than most of the group and ended up at the back but I never had any judgement or pressure put on me and was allowed to move at my own pace. The tour was very informative and I learnt so much not just about the Lost City but about the indigenous way of life and the beautiful history of the area. They were constantly checking how we were and wanted to hear our thoughts on the tour and they are very willing to change and improve which is so important! The hostels and beds were clean and comfy and there were plenty of opportunities to buy food and water along the way. My group was amazing and very positive and I feel as though I made life long friends and bonds from only a few days. The atmosphere was light and bright with José Garcia lifting our spirits with his wonderful singing and I can say that ,although a challenge, it is one of the greatest experiences I have had 🤩 Thank you José Garcia and Sebastián and thank you orquesta sintonía!!! I will never forget you ❤️

Summary: This was One of the best experience we ever had. Our Tourguide Maria and the Translater Sebastian are one of the funniest and nicest people we met on our Colombia Trip. The landscape is getting better and better by each day. If you Love fresh fruits, you will like the snacks, best pineapple I ever had. I really recommend this tour with Magic Tours!!!!

Summary: Me and my sisters did the Lost City Trek with Magical Tour in September 2025. We had an amazing experience! Our guides, José García (the singing guide) and Maria truly made this trip so special. José has so much knowledge about the history of Teyuna and the Tayrona people. I learned way more than expected! Maria was a great translator and also told us some beautiful stories. Both of them also made sure that everyone was safe. Also a big shoutout to our chef, who was also named Maria, for cooking healthy, delicious and varied meals 3x per day! She also took my wish to eat vegetarian into account, which I really appreciate! Thanks a lot José, Maria, Maria & Magic Tour! I will never forget this 4 day trek! I will recommend this trip to all my friends!

Summary: Make no mistake, this is hike is long and hard. 4 days and a total of 64 km of only going up or going down (Colombian flat, they call this). For someone who is untrained/does not hike often (like me) this hike will take a toll on you! But in return for putting in the effort you will get one of the most breathtaking views to see and one of the most stunning places on earth to visit. I will not spoil too much, only this: it’s worth it. Normally, i am not the kind of person to write a review, but i will make an exception now! This trip was amazing, in a very large part due to our amazing guides Jose - the singing Guide - Garcia and María. They have pulled us as a group -Team Lullo (also know as The Tranquillo’s) - to the lost city and back again. José Garcia is the most passionate guide you will ever meet. He knows everything about the trek and all the people and their cultures you meet while underway. He is as passionate about trekking as he is about teaching. A perfect combination. In addation he is also a great singer and with his many songs he makes sure everyone is laughing and in a good mood. That said, all his knowlegde would mean nothing, were it not for our 2nd tourguid and also translator María (since Jose only speaks spanish and we didn’t). She is not only skilled translater and great guide, but she is also an expert in psychologie, has a deep understanding of arts like music and photography and on top of it all she can take your mind of the itches and pains (that come completely for free with this hike) by talking about the real deep questions of life itself. What a treat. If you ever have the luck of finding yourself on the Lost City trek with this combination of guides (Jose the Singer and María the wise), be blessed. It will be the advanture of a lifetime!

Summary: Magic Tour was great from first enquiries, through to the hike itself. The office team answered querues quickly and were helpful in advising on pur onward journey. The 4 day hike was brutal but beautiful and out amazing team made sure we were well looked after from the moment we arrived in the Magic Tour office in Santa Marta. Nikolas is a great guide who knows everything about the area and history and also knows everyone! A special shout out to Sebastian, our translator who went out of his way to help when the going got tough. He has the best laugh and is so knowledgeable and full of great stories. His catch phrase is "1 hour of Colombian flat" which means 1 hour of smaller hills! Our cook made delicious meals with huge portions - you never go hungry! The camps were well organised and clean. 100% recommend.

Summary: Incredible experience trekking to the Ciudad Perdida with Wilson and Maria - couldn’t fault any part of the tour. Incredible experience and so much knowledge of the site, as well as local areas. Plus Sandra cooked us incredible food to fuel us along the trek! Highly recommend.

Summary: We had a really good time and everything was perfectly organized. We got interesting information along the way about the indigenous people and the sierra nevada. The food was also good, the places to swim really nice and accomodation comfortable. Luis was a really great guide and made this experience fun. So I can really reccommend the agency and booking the tour with Luis as a guide. Thanks!

Summary: Had the most amazing time exploring the jungle and the lost city with my family. Wonderful organization, a special thanks to our guide Melkys and cook Jair for their exceptional work and support. Melkys supported all the family with great patience (for elderly parents participating) and great knowledge of the flora, fauna and history. Jair cooked amazing meals to help us be fueled for the extreme hikes. Would 100% recommend.
