Summary: This was an outstanding tour, the best I have ever been on (and we have followed many). Paul is an excellent guide. On our walk through the city, including the old centre, we we enjoyed a well researched introduction, peppered with anecdotes and humorous moments, of Lyon’s ancient and rich history. Paul speaks clearly—even I, with only one working though compromised ear, had no difficulty hearing him. He carries with him a huge binder with photographs and images of personalities and scenes related to the history of the city. It was fun and enlightening. More about him can be found on Freetourlyon.com
