Summary: Great experience with the host (Sergio). It was his first time going truffle hunting as he was only 1 week on the job. Despite this, he was professional and well versed in food having been a chef in a previous life. On to the experience, we were lucky because despite it raining, we managed to still find truffles even managing to find a (rare) giant white truffle on top of the regular black ones. Afterwards, we were treated to a light meal with some of the truffles found. The farm makes their own olive oil and the quality of those were superb. Not to be missed if you want something different other than the standard parmesan cheese or parma ham factory tours. Though note if you are solo travelling you may need to pay a bit more.
