Bermuda Private Sunset Cruise

Summary: Edward was a great tour guide giving us history and helping us understandi the islands of Bermuda better. He took pictures of our family for us and gave us as much time as we needed to hang out to get all the great shots. The music he played was perfect and not too loud until we all were singing along together which was great. He was so relaxed and made the rest of us feel comfortable. AfterTripadvisor offered us a discount for the tour, it was almost the same price as a group tour, so it was a no brainer.

Summary: Ed was very nice and accommodating and very pleasant … what else can I say u It was an awesome time in Bermuda one of our highlights of the trip I definitely recommend

Summary: OK. I NEVER write a review. This is my very first and ONLY review. I booked the private sunset cruise for June the 18th. I booked it through Viator although I think you can do it directly through their website. We were on a cruise and this was an excursion because our ship docked at port for 3 days. About a week before we left, THEY REACHED OUT TO ME DIRECTLY. Which was amazing. It’s wasn’t an automated thing, it was a person, DJ, offering whatever I might need to make this as great as possible. Now, I’ve cruised a lot, this type of things has never happened on other excursions. They were awesome. I told them how I was planning a proposal (re-proposal after 24 years for a vow renewal) and how special it was. We also have mobility issues and so we couldn’t walk too far from the boat. We were able to plan a pick up location that was right by the ship. Captain Ed was so professional and kind. Didn’t feel rushed in any way. And you’d never have known it but I could only imagine having us doing this very personal thing, it could have been awkward for him but he was just the right amount of “involved.” He gave us a little information about the island while we were going out to the PERFECT sunset spot. But he gave us our space too. It felt totally private. The spot was gorgeous (see the pictures) and I couldn’t believe how private this all was. The ride was smooth and he provided us some rum swizzles that was home-made!! Then once we got to the spot. I told him he could just hold onto my phone to take some pictures (*wink wink*) and he was not only our captain but our photographer and got some great pictures for us to have. Afterwards, we sat and watched the rest of the sunset and the beautiful colors in the sky. The way back was just lovely and he gave us our space. Such a great guy!! As we pulled up to the port, he offered to drop us off right next to the boat so we didn’t have to walk more than we needed. Never once even hinted at a tip or a gratuity of any sort, of course we did and I wish I couldn’t have doubled it. I know they offer more services with their boats than this but I would feel very confident based on my experience that anything they do will be top notch. Should I ever find myself in Bermuda again (and I totally plan on it because OMG is it a beautiful island), I will definitely be giving them a buzz and I have no doubt, it will be a wonderful time.
