Summary: Just returned from our first trip to Kenya's Masai Mara with accommodations at the and Beyond Bateleur Camp. 3 adult couples. This "camp" (luxury experience makes camp seem like a misnomer) is designed with a north and south end, each containing 9 "tents" (beautifully appointed ensuite bedroom and lounge space with indoor and outdoor showers). Each section has its own pool. The gym is in the south section. We stayed in the north section. The rooms have a deck overlooking the countryside. Wildlife roams both on site and just outside the electric fence deployed to keep large animals out of the residential spaces. That said, I did have a close encounter with a friendly warthog at the pool and could watch water bucks just outside my deck. Dining takes place in a conveniently located lodge a short walk away. Food and drinks are included and are excellent. We had 2 vegans, a vegetarian and 3 omnivores in our group. The chef ensured high quality and an excellent variety of food for all tastes. Wine, spirits and beer flowed freely each evening. Game drives are provided each day in the morning and evening. This Camp is in the Triangle where many species congregate. Our first 3 hour game drive allowed us to see lions, a leopard, elephants, zebra, various antelope species, hippo, rhino, giraffes, many birds. In the ensuing days, we added cheetahs, crocs, jackals and small cats. Our ranger, Collins, is an amiable and seasoned expert who kept the excitement coming every time we toured the park. Tours are provided in comfortable modified Toyota Land Cruisers with open sides, a roof and 6 seats. It is remarkable how habituated the animals are to these vehicles. We were able to get within 10 feet of the big cats and elephants strolled by close enough touch them (which of course we didn't). Other nice touches included free laundry service and medical care on site. Unfortunately, one of our travelers suffered significant dehydration for unknown reasons. A doctor came to see us and administered i.v. fluids to the guest in his room. There was no additional charge for this! One day included breakfast prepared for us by Collins in the field. We added a tour of a local village which was a fascinating glimpse of local life. We are happy we chose February for our experience. The temperatures were moderate and any rain occurred at night. The grassland was greening up and quite beautiful. In fact, I was stuck by the overall beauty of this place. Open spaces as far as you can see with no evidence of human occupation. This time of year is much less crowded but outside the migration of the wildebeest. However, for us the quietude more than made up for this exception. None of us had visited Kenya before and we feel we made an ideal choice for our safari experience. Rooms were immaculate. There is a great sense of privacy. The staff at Bateleur Camp could not be more attentive or accommodating. They make you feel like family. Thank you Esther, Collins, Jonathon, Lil Joe, Francis, Chef and the Doctor. We strongly recommend Bateleur Camp.

Summary: The illest. Must do of you’re in Denver and are not a square

Summary: It was absolutely amazing. John was awesome. Beautiful colors and meditation.

Summary: Very cool spot to visit even if you aren’t stoned. Could spend hours here if passing through the area. Friendly staff. Happy we stopped

Summary: This place was awesome! I really enjoyed the guided meditation leading into a trippy, psychedelic projection show to some classic rock hits! The rec room was an awesome cool down post show where we played ping pong and skeeball. If you’re looking for a fun, inexpensive experience I would highly recommend.

Summary: Refreshingly different and fun. Seven minute or so guided meditation followed by a laser light show. Very well done. Sleep inducing, but that’s OK. Just learned of this activity within the last 24 hours. Worth doing.

Summary: Engaging and very beautiful. Also great vibes at this place would certainly reccomend. The play room is also very underrated so many fun games.
