Summary: In a word fantastic. We had the best time making candy this morning with Belgium chocolate. I had a little trepidation as first. The address was this nondescript door with a hand written sign. Nobody answered right away when we rang. But don’t let that fool you. That’s just being in an old city. We met some really wonderful people in our group. Eva, who led the group from the workshop was fantastic. Basically, we made two types. One was a chocolate shell filled with fruit, nuts, syrups and ganache. Anything we wanted in any combination. And we made pralines with the same sort of options. Very good. I don’t know what we’ll do with all that candy. It’s only going to last about two weeks and we have nobody to share it with.
