  • caving is a moderately strenuous activity. guests should be prepared to hike uphill for 30-40 minutes on a mountain trail, in addition to scrambling, crawling, squeezing, and sliding through the cave. all participants must wear a helmet as well as a safety harness which has a maximum waist size of 46" (116 cm) and a maximum leg size of 33" (84 cm)

Summary: The Caving Explorer Tour was amazing! We went 16 stories below ground, climbing through tight spaces and sliding our way through muddy passages. Our family with 4 teenagers loved it all! Gabbi was the best guide; she showed us fossils and incredible cave features. This is a great alternative to a day hiking that lets you experience something unique, while accomplishing something fun together. Plan on getting your shoes covered in mud, but they provided a great coverall so we didn't have to worry about our clothes at all. She led us through every step. HIGHLY recommend!
