Summary: This experience was a great intro to scuba diving. I was quite late for my time slot because I overlooked a message about pick-up location. They spoke with me and reassured me that I could still show up for my lesson. It was my first time learning. The instructor was patient and extremely kind. I read a brief learners' manual about the diving equipment and methods, then there was an oral overview, then as the instructor was helping me get the suit and gear on, we reviewed everything that could be done outside of the water. When we got to the dock, we thoroughly practiced using the equipment, how to clear the mask and breather if they got water in them, hand signs, etc. Then we swam. We saw a huge school of sardine (I think that's what the instructor said they were, I forget,) we saw star fish, snakes, of course tons of fish. The instructor stayed close to me the entire time. He took tons of photos and videos. I truly recommend this place. Definitely tip them well!
