Summary: Our cooking class with Veerna and her family was an absolute highlight of our holiday in Crete! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed warmly into their beautiful outside kitchen. Veerna and her family provided clear instructions with so much patience, which was wonderful as they helped my two teenagers get involved in prepping the traditional Cretan dishes. The flow of the class was seamless—they even cleared away our prep stations as we went, allowing us to just focus on the fun. The atmosphere was fantastic; Veerna and her family are funny, and they created a lively, welcoming environment where several couples and families of different nationalities could all connect and cook together. Everyone in our group had an amazing time. It was a thoroughly enjoyable, 5-star experience from start to finish. I cannot recommend this activity enough to anyone visiting the Chania area!

Summary: This was a truly memorable experience for our family. It is clearly a family operation run wonderfully and wonderfully warm sweet people. The food was amazing. That’s saying something coming from someone who actually hates olives and olive oil. They have their own groove and the olive oil was delicious. My husband didn’t go because he’s not a huge fan of cooking, but I have to say that we laughed a lot, it was great for all levels of cooks. It was an event for everybody and I am sure he would’ve loved it as well. Fortunately, we had some leftovers so he enjoyed that immensely. The setting is amazing. The little town is cute. They put so much effort into all the details of the kitchen and the surrounding area of it. Worth every penny.

Summary: The whole family was so awesome to work with, Veerna was a great teacher, warm, and informative. Costas was hilarious & very helpful. Alex was too, and a good sense of entertainment. Made our trip so much fun!
