We took the 2.5 hour tour from Albufeira Marina to see the Benagil caves and spot dolphins 🐬
Of course there’s no guarantee you will actually see the dolphins, but the various different boat operators clearly share information on sightings to give you the best chance. We were lucky and had great views of a group of them diving. We were pleased that as the number of tourist boats increased, our captain indicated it was time to come away so that the dolphins didn’t become stressed, and other boats did so too.
We then moved on to tour the various caves along the coastline which were very scenic.
Our guide and captain Diego and Osvaldo had a perfect balance between being informative and humorous. It was very clear they wanted all their passengers to really enjoy the trip and they succeeded.

Had a great time on the Dolphin Search and Benagil Cave adventure with Captain Danny and Diogo! The weather was perfect: sunny with a cool breeze. Captain Danny and Diogo were very engaging and made the trip super fun with their jokes and great attitude! We were lucky to see a small pod of dolphins in their natural habitat and enjoy them for a few minutes. 100% recommend!
