Summary: What a great way to get oriented to Evora! Joao took me on a personalized tour of the city and pointed out tiny bits of history only a PhD student of ancient cultures would know. It was a truly memorable experience and gave me a list of places I’ll be going back to for further exploration.

Summary: We highly recommend this tour! The tour guides, Bianca and her partner arrived right on time and met us at the entrance of the hotel. Bianca explained the logistics of the trip and what to expect. Our destination was 50 minutes away, but the time flew by as the guides explained the current use of land and the likelihood of many roman ruins yet to be unearthed. Once at the palace, Bianca described the layout of the village and the long history as we walked the streets. Bianca provided options for how to investigate the palace as the site is quite rugged.
