Summary: Carl and Macy were fabulous! The water was “lumpy” that day and Carl manoeuvred the boat to avoid as many of the waves as possible. Once we got to the whales, they were just as excited as the guests were. It is near the end of the season but we still saw 4 whales. Macy was informative about the whales in the area and the behaviors we were seeing. We also saw sea lions and eagles. They tried to find some bears on shore but we didn’t have luck with that. It was well worth the time and money to go on this excursion. We can’t wait to do it again in the future! *We booked this on our own and not through the cruise line. The instructions to find the excursion were easy to follow and we had no issues at all.

Summary: Great experience, even though it was end of the season, we saw whales! Captain went out of his way to try and find other animals to see. We did see eagles, seals, and sea otters. He also ran the coastline to try to spot a bear. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Remember to dress in layers!
