Summary: One of the most amazing experiences I've ever had! What an adventure - it's like the best parts of whitewater rafting, hiking, and rock climbing combined - but better! AJ was absolutely wonderful - knowledgeable, professional, and made the experience fun. Instead of canceling when I was the only one signed up, he brought along some friends so that I could still have the experience. 100% highly recommend and will make sure to come back to Revelstoke to do this again! Regarding the physicality of this experience: I am fairly active and have done some belaying and natural waterslides in the past, but experience is definitely not needed - just a willingness to be adventurous! My biggest issue was finding suitable footing a few times on the rocks (both due to not always being able to see the rocks through the whitewater and some hesitation after recovering from a knee injury). If you have knee or ankle issues, this may be more of a mental challenge for you, but it is very do-able and SO WORTH IT! It was a cooler day temperature-wise but I was very comfortable in the wetsuit provided. Make sure to wear supportive shoes!

Summary: AJ was great! The waterfalls were stunning and the rappelling was engaging and thrilling. Truly one of the most beautiful experiences we’ve had. Can’t recommend it to everyone more. The downtime after each rappel was perfect to take in the nature and chat with the others.

Summary: As a mom who’s usually a bit more cautious than the rest of my family, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this canyoning trip turned out to be one of the most unique and memorable adventures we’ve ever done together. It’s such a special way to experience Revelstoke’s temperate rainforest — Rock Jam Canyon is absolutely breathtaking, with rushing waterfalls, beams of sunlight cutting through the greenery, moss-covered rock walls, and crystal-clear water in a setting that feels straight out of a movie. What I loved most was that it felt thrilling and adventurous without ever being overwhelming. AJ, our guide, was organized, efficient, and fun, making sure each of us felt safe and had just the right level of challenge, whether that meant pushing our limits or keeping things more mellow. The tour flowed seamlessly, with very little waiting and each rappel or slide leading smoothly into the next. From start to finish, it was exciting yet safe, which gave me the confidence to fully enjoy the experience and try everything. I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking for an adventurous, beautiful, and accessible way to explore Revelstoke, no matter your ability level. I'll be back!!

Summary: Vertical Rivers Canyoning was awesome! AJ was first rate from booking to the final drop off. We did the half day Rock Jam Canyon bc none of us had done anything like this before. It was a perfect amount of adventure while never feeling unsafe at all. The canyon itself is gorgeous. Opportunities to rappel, slide and jump. The wetsuits kept us plenty warm. AJ took tons of great photos the whole way thru so I never once thought about not having a phone. I highly recommend the final rappel at the end. If I could give 10 stars I would!!
