Summary:
We went with the Captain Andreas boat from Pythagorio harbor to Kasonisi Island. The trip there took about an hour and we were treated with ouzo, orange juice, white wine and small sandwiches during the time on the boat. There was also possibility to buy beer and wine on the boat. First we stopped in the narrow strait between Kasonisi and Samos. The water was crystal blue and we could jump and dive into it from the boat. A lot of fun! 🤩
There was also the possibility to climb via ladder into the water. Then we went to the small beach and town of Poseidonio. Where we stopped for a couple of hours for sun bathing, swimming and lunch at the Taverna. Very beautiful small beach with crystal clear water, quite nice for snorkeling too. After that the boat went back towards Pythagorio, but this time more slowly and closer to the coast line. Very calming and lots of nice scenery and happy waving people along the way. Only drawback we can think was that the volume of the music on the boat was a bit high. Especially when sitting close to a loudspeaker.
