Mike was incredibly kind and helpful and they both had an amazing time, definitely a highlight of our vacation! We are already planning another trip to north Michigan just so we can revisit Mike’s forge. July 2024 Diane What a great experience, Mike's a great teacher, and explains the process well, love the hands on time and the wall hooks we made. They are complete with a coat of clear lacquer, ready to screw to the wall and hang my hat on. Thank you Mike. March 2024 Doug What a fantastic experience. Mike coaches expertly but you do all the work. Very satisfying adventure. My wife and I each crafted a steel decorative wall coat hook. Mike taught us how to heat the steel and how to form, move and twist it.

Summary: This is an amazing one on one experience to learn something new from one of the best! I was nervous going solo my first time but I'm already looking forward to the second. He's a great teacher and it was worth it 100%. Come comfy and you're in for a time! Definitely look into his website before you book!
