  • vegetarian and vegan options are limited in peru. if you expect a balanced menu protein wise, please do not book. there won't be tofu nor lentils, and eggs are not widely used in preparations.

  • please note guides will not be providing their service in multiple languages simultaneously. make sure you book the right tour/language
  • we won't wait for latecomers more than 5 mins past the tour start time.
  • passport number, country of issue and date of entry to peru is required before the tour for all the tour participants in order to exonerate you from the 18% sales tax.

Summary: We had a lovely tour with Aura. At each stop there was an explanation of how the dish was prepared and the relevance of the ingredients. Between stops we saw lots of Barraca and the artistry it supports. And Aura was a fantastic guide making sure we had lots of fun!

Summary: David and Gabriella, our guides, were probably the best tour guides we have ever had, fun, helpful, informative, attentive and thoroughly efficient. The food was sensational, the tour was not rushed, and we had plenty of opportunities for questions and conversation, would thoroughly recommend this tour as value for money, and no one left hungry!
