Summary: We had a fantastic experience renting e-bikes for a sunset tour in Meteora. The guide was excellent—very knowledgeable, spoke perfect English, and adapted the pace of the tour to suit the group. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. The equipment was in perfect condition, and everything was thoughtfully organized. We each received a bottle of water, were given reflective vests when it got dark, and even enjoyed a small snack during the ride. Highly recommended experience!

Summary: Great fun! We learned about the geography and geology of Meteora as well as the history beginning with hermits who began to inhabit the caves in the area, followed by monks who united them together in communities they built on top of the rocks, the destruction of some of the monasteries by the nazis, reconstruction efforts, and current state of the remaining six. The ride was beautiful, took some effort but was very doable for us 70-something’s, informative, adapted for our abilities, and exceptionallly well-guided. Bonus: beautiful sunset!

Summary: A highlight of my visit. Doing the sunset tour on the day I arrived gave me a great overview to explore on my own the following day. Vasileios gave me excellent hiking tips, and shared many stories of the area, including of his time growing up in Kalabaka. The entire staff was very welcoming and friendly. I ended up with a private tour as another party canceled. Highly recommend!
