Experience a Pinnacles Desert Sunset Dinner and Stargazing Tour from Perth

Experience a night of stargazing just a short trip from Perth Central Business District where you’ll use professional telescopes and binoculars to view planets, star clusters, nebulae and galaxies while you learn from stories of the Dreamtime - the night sky as told by the world’s first astronomers, the Indigenous Australians. You’ll also see native plants used by the Aborigines for food, medicine and tool making (seasonal and at tour operator’s discretion), enjoy an Aussie BBQ dinner and a glass of Australian wine as the desert stretches toward a sunset over the Indian Ocean*, and capture memorable photos among the Pinnacles and under the night sky with your smartphone. Summary: Fantastic trip. Even though the bus was a bit unloved and the microphone didn’t work, we had a great time. Leighton, our driver/guide looked after us a treat. Safe driving, friendly, helpful and professional. The bbq dinner was terrific and our sunset watching and star gazing, just brilliant. The astronomy part was carried out by the driver of the other bus, Hadril, I think his name was. Very knowledgeable and delivered an informative and entertaining session. We just loved our time at the Pinnacles. Thank you Leighton for all your assistance.

Summary: My family and I enjoyed the tour to the Pinnacles desert...very otherworldly looking, especially at sunset! We enjoyed a delicious bbq dinner (with wine!) and then enjoyed some stargazing with a high powered telescope...saw Saturn, surface of the moon, and the Milky Way. Very cool experience!
