Had some great private ski sessions with Matthew - amazing coach, extremely professional, responsible and focus. I had to book an extra session right after having the first one because I was learning so much. I’m very happy about my improvement at the end and skiing with Matthew was an absolute pleasure. He’s also very knowledgeable about the area so if you fancy an audio guide on the mountains and routes as you ride up the lift, he is the guy. :)

If you're looking for private ski lessons in Zermatt, I highly recommend working with Matthew! As complete first-time skiers, we were understandably nervous and unsure, but Matthew was incredibly helpful and sympathetic to our newbie status. He was patient, encouraging, and made us feel comfortable on the slopes, despite our initial wobbles.
A word of caution: while the views in Zermatt are absolutely breathtaking, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it as the best place for your first ski experience. The terrain is challenging, even on the beginner slopes, and the thinner air at that altitude definitely doesn't help!
That being said, with Matthew's guidance, we managed to get down the hill (multiple times!), and the feeling of accomplishment was incredible. If you're up for a challenge and want to learn to ski with stunning Matterhorn views, then go for it! Just be prepared for a steeper learning curve and book those private lessons with Matthew – you'll be glad you did!
