My wife and I, along with our two sons (aged six and nine) did the sea kayaking tour from Kalamata in July 2025. We had a fantastic time. Totally safe with all the necessary équipement and explanations, providing a great experience for my sons who had never kayaked before. A beautiful tour along the coast south of Kalamata, allowing us to explore sites inaccessible by car/foot. Our two guides from Explore Messina were brillant - friendly, fun, expert, patient; they made it an unforgettable experience and set a pace which managed to be physically challenging while not impossible for those who haven’t kayaked before. They were in addition excellent teachers, teaching us important fundamentals. The lunch they bought for us, on a beautiful beach, was also delicious. A true highlight of our holiday and an activity I would definitely recommend to others.

My partner and I had a wonderful time experiencing the bay of Kalamata with George. George was a very knowledgeable guide who was exceptional at explaining the mechanics of kayaking as well as the history of the area. He had a great lunch picked out with local Kalamata olives, a loaf of bread, and greens to round out the meal. We would absolutely recommend the experience.
