Summary: We took the sunset tour on the Lazy Lizard out of Playa Flamingo. Beverages were provided as soon as we boarded and during our cruise up the coast line. They first took us to a protected cove with a small beach for swimming and snorkeling. The water was generally cloudy because of the rains during the weekend, but the water would occasionally clear if you floated closer to the shore. I saw several species of fish darting around. After snorkeling, the crew served pork or beef tacos (both were very good!), salad, and cookies for dessert. The sun was setting as we headed back to the marina. It was gorgeous! The crew played some great music, some dancing was involved, and people all seemed to be enjoying themselves. The captain threw out 2 lines for trolling on our way back and got a strike on one! My brother had a blast bringing the fish in! My brother got a picture with the fish and the captain, and the crew kept the fish for dinner. We went back to our hotel tired and happy.

Summary: Jose, Erick and Dennis created a wonderful atmosphere, the boat is excellent as were the food and drinks, just a great experience!

Summary: Loved this trip. First of all, the facilities on the catamaran are the best I’ve seen yet. The selection of drinks was fantastic and the food was so fresh and clean. All of this, along with the service created an atmosphere for becoming a lazy lizard. All I thought about was which direction to look for the epic views. This trip checks all your boxes for a catarmaran sail.

This is a must for everyone and in Feb 2026, my friends and I will experience the hospitality of this top notch tour again .

Summary: My siblings and I went out for the sunset cruise, and had a great time. The ride came with drinks, snacks, and some great tacos! We were able to snorkel- the visibility wasn’t crazy high but I got to hold a starfish, see coral, and several types of fish and dolphins! I would absolutely do this again!

Summary: Although it was raining and cloudy we still had a great time and we were still able to see a sunset! The crew was so amazing and made us feel welcome. Everything was explained well and they served an amazing spread of food. It’s taco Tuesday everyday and they were delicious ! We were able to snorkel or float on a pool noodle or Lilly pad for about an hour. We watched them catch 2 fish and we saw a ton of dolphin. You’ll leave your shoes behind in a crate before you board the dingy to get to the boat. Don’t forget your towel and have a great time !!

Summary: We booked the Sunset Cruise and was not disappointed. Shuttle picked us up from The Westin Reserva Conchal Beach Resort and took us to Flamingo Beach area, where they dropped us off to catch the Catamaran. We had Captain Josue, Denis and Luis as our crew and they were the best. Always making sure we were taken care of, whether it was drinks, food, or just in general. They were the best. We were celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary and had our 2 sons and their families with us, for a total of nine. The kids were 16 years, 3 years and 1 year. When it was snorkeling time, they even had gear for the 3 year old, so he could join his parents. It was nice to see that he could participate with them. He was so excited to see the turtles. The lunch was a couple different kinds of tacos, chips, salads, etc. It was really good and a lot of it, so if you went home hungry, it was your fault. The sunset was beautiful! We had a great time! The crew was great! Would definitely take another cruise with them, they made sure everyone was safe, while making sure you had a good time. My husband even has a photo with him and Captain Josue at the helm, nice photo to keep to remember our 50th and the good time we had in Costa Rica. Thank you, guys for making it memorable.

Summary: This was so much fun! We had Erick, Josue, and Nicolas. They were a blast! We saw whales, dolphins, puffer fish, lots of little fish, a sting ray, and turtles. This was in September, so chances are higher to see whales ;) The ride was so fun and seeing the sunset from the boat was beautiful. I’m pregnant and had tons of water and didn’t once feel sea sick. There were 2 bathrooms, they made the most delicious food, and the weather was perfect.

Summary: What can I say other than this is a must doif youre in Guanacaste on the Pacific side. I went back a 2nd time! The crew are attentive, knowledgeable, and have incredible energy. From the catamaran ride, the wildlife, to the snorkeling, to the delicious homemade food and free-flowing drinks, everything was done with care. Highly reccomend. All the guides were fantastic.
