Summary: Carlos at La Muda was recommended to us by a local. I found the business phone number and was able to easily book directly with them the night before. The instructions on where and when to meet were easy to follow. Carlos did an excellent job coaching us on the land, and then sent us out to the water with competent instructors. Four out of five of us got up on the board within a few tries and it was no fault of the instructors that the fifth one struggled some. Would highly recommend this school and if we are ever back in Tamarindo we will find Carlos for more lessons. It was a great addition that Carlos was on the beach taking photos of our family as we were out in the water. Superb value for the 2-hour lesson and the pictures.
