Summary: This is a thrilling, unique experience while being totally secure! I loved seeing Switzerland from the sky! I went on the very early trip and the adventure was totally great with a fantastic instructor and had quite some fun! Thank you to the whole team.

Summary: Our family travelled together and went paragliding. We are parents in our 60's with a 27 yr. old son. My husband and I ( I'm Derrick's wife, writing this with his consent, blah,blah) had our first experience parasailing in Clearwater a couple of months ago which we found serene. So when our son suggested parasailing, we said "Sure! We're in" We met our pilots( the folks who you are strapped in with) at the meeting centre in a large van and 7 pilots and 7 customers drove up the mountain...way up. Then we parked and walked up a fairly steep but shortish walk. I joked that the test must be if you can walk the last leg, they'll let you actually parasail. So we get to our launch site and I decide to myself that I'll go 3rd, maybe 4th, you know so I can see how to launch. Well, my pilot( who I'm sure thought he'd drawn the short straw given he was 30 yrs old and I'm, well like I said, am in my 60"s - but I am youthful!) had a different idea. He said "Ingrid, we're going first". Now I didn't know how that was going to look. I hadn't YouTubed this or seen any videos. So, we're harnessed in to one another. I'm in front and my pilot is behind me and he says " We're going to run for 7-10 seconds and even when you feel the sail pull up bit, just keep running because we want to make sure that we launch and lift" Well, I have no idea what I'm doing at this point and I look behind me before we take off, see my husband who is about 40 feet away from me, give him a little frozen "Good Bye" smile and on my pilot's instruction start to run. Well I didn't run on the ground for 7-10 seconds - it was more like 3. And then we were airborne, But I followed the instructions and kept my legs going for the full 10 despite the fact we were well up in the air by then. And WOW, what an experience! It was breathtaking. The view, the almost out of body experience, the sense that this is what a bucket list experience is supposed to be - it was all that. My pilot, Dani, was incredible. Moving the sail with such experienced skill. The day was perfect and clear. The landing was like walking down a stair. Seamless. So yes, it's pricey,,,, but is it worth it? Unreservedly...yes. Thank you to all of our pilots who were kind and patient.
