Summary: The trip was on time and logistics were well organized. The boat was catered for a small group, with one instructor per 4 adults maximum. Basir was the instructor for our scuba diving experience (2 people). His chill attitude and professionalism made us feel at ease during the whole dive. Despite low visibility Basir managed to find a turtle in our area. Overall, it was a great experience near Kota Kinabalu.

Summary: Excellent experience. Similar to a tandem skydive, in that the skilled diver is with you and guiding you always. Very safe. Good lunch provided and good amount of time to dive and snorkel. Had a great day! Highly recommended

As beginners, our swimming skills were akin to wobbly-legged ducklings, and the vast ocean stirred both awe and trepidation. But the boat crew—oh, they were our guiding stars. Patience was their superpower. They understood our fears, our clumsy flippers, and our wide-eyed wonder. With gentle encouragement, they eased us into our gear, adjusting straps and cracking jokes. Their kindness was a life jacket for our nerves. And then, the boat transformed. It wasn’t just a vessel—it was a floating fiesta. The crew, like a harmonious band, played music, sang sea shanties, and danced between dives. Their laughter echoed across the waves, and suddenly, the ocean felt like a friend’s backyard. We opted for two dives—one around Mabul and the other near Kapalai. Descending into the blue, we entered a realm of kaleidoscopic coral gardens. Neon fish darted, and curious sea turtles glided by, as if inviting us to their underwater ballroom. The snorkeling option during the middle of the journey was a delightful bonus—a chance to float weightlessly and marvel at the sun-kissed shallows. And lunch? Oh, it was a feast fit for Poseidon himself. Fresh seafood and flavors that danced on our tongues. We sat on the boat’s edge, toes dangling, and savored every bite, our hearts full. But let’s talk about the water. Imagine liquid sapphire—clear, cool, and teeming with secrets. The sunlight pierced through, illuminating schools of fish like living jewels. And there, just inches away, was the majestic sea turtle. Its ancient eyes met ours, and time stood still. We hovered, suspended, sharing a moment of wonder. Summary: For the first time, I got to scuba through this program. It was a very nerve-wracking moment, but thanks to my friendly guide, we could see sea turtles that we had never seen before. Through this program, I thought it would be a good idea to try scuba diving for 3 days the next time I visit Semporna. Looking forward to my next visit, I hope that the guides who are always friendly will be in good health.

Martin, the instructor, is professional, detail minded, funny with great patience! During the AOW diving course, he is not just focusing on teaching diving skills, but also keeps reminding us the importance of safety and ensuring our safety in all time! We did learnt a lot from him! What’s more, he has more than 25 years of diving experiences, and his buoyancy has definitely impressed me! Other crew members, Dee, Jassilin and Nani, are friendly and always try to arrange the best for us. In addition, they are good photographers! Thanks for giving us such an enjoyable trip!

Summary: Fantastic time with sea bunny! We contacted showery via WhatsApp the day before our trip and she managed to arrange everything for us at short notice. We did one day of snorkelling with them, then the following day we did a scuba introductory day. Our guide Steven was excellent - we had one instructor between two and he was controlling our dive the whole time and checking in on us so we felt very safe. We got down to 12 meters which was amazing! The boat is in excellent condition and crew are very professional. Nice touches such as towels and unlimited hot/cold drinks and snacks. Would definitely recommend!
