Ubud Silver Jewelry Making Class

If you’ve opted for a tour with pickup from your Ubud area address—extra charges apply for pickup from elsewhere—your driver collects you and brings you to the silversmithing village of Delodsema, where your course begins. Sip tea or coffee and nibble on Balinese snacks as your teacher shows you some jewelry samples to inspire your creativity. If you already have your own idea for a design, your teacher will help you sketch it out and bring it to fruition. If not, build on one of the samples that you like. Your package includes 0.25 ounce (7 grams) of silver, but you can buy extra silver and stones if needed. Your teacher will help you implement your design, using techniques from hammering and soldering to engraving and cutting, and if there’s time and silver left you can create another piece. A range of optional add-ons are available to book: an all-terrain vehicle (ATV or quad bike) tour, a cooking class, a village visit, a sightseeing tour, and a tour by retro Volkswagen Safari. These may happen before or after your silversmithing class. Unless you’ve chosen the class without pickup, you return to your Ubud address at the end of your activities.

Summary: Really wonderful experience, stunning place to be. Was with my partner and I was able to make a very nice ring whilst she was able to make two stunning rings. Very awesome experience. I would definitely recommend.

Summary: We arrived 20 minutes late due to traffic and our southern Bali origin. It took us about 3 hours to reach the class. Upon arrival, we were a bit worried about where to go since no one greeted us. However, my cousin started walking up these steep steps, and we followed her, realizing we were on the right track. The class instructor greeted us warmly. I explained our tardiness, and he was understanding. This hidden gem nestled within the hills turned out to be a true gem. Since there were only four of us in the class, we were given extra time and personalized attention. The welcome drink was delicious and refreshing. We were also shown a few books with recipe suggestions. We chose a three-hour session that provided us with 7 grams of silver, with the option to purchase more. We all agreed to buy more silver to create beautiful pieces. The instructors were incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. The lead instructor shared fascinating history about Bali with us. One of my favorite things about him was his love for animals. He rescued 14 dogs and cats, and they currently live with him. We had the pleasure of meeting two of these adorable animals. Overall, our journey to the class was long, but our experience was truly amazing!
