An exciting visit to discover the ancient Sardinian dairy tradition. A journey to discover the history and secrets of Sardinian pecorino and caprini. During the visit we will show you the different production phases, from the entrance and the analysis on the milk, to the different recipes, the salting in brine tanks, the ricotta, the seasoning and finally the preparation, packaging and shipping, in the places where the Pecorini Sardi are born , they grow and rest to develop and restore the scents of the pastures of our territory. A guided tour through the halls where the pecorino and goat cheese come to life. Furthermore, a gastronomic tour awaits you in the tasting room, where our specialized staff will take you on a guided tasting of some of our most famous cheeses, accompanied by a wine from the best wineries in Sardinia.

Summary: Interesting and informative trip to this cheese making factory. It was the afternoon tour so the factory was quiet and deserted. It gave us a chance to explore and listen in peace. We took the 9118 bus from Cagliari to Dolianova and then walked the 1.5 kilometres to the factory. We caught the train and bus back. It’s a good outing for a day and you get to visit a smaller town and see the countryside.

Summary: Beautiful Sardinia, great excursions, Unfortunately, restaurants spend too much, in three months they want to earn like the others in 12 months! Same thing for Sicily visited in May, covered with paper at 3 euros unlikely! To make up for this I take an apartment or two-room apartment and bring everything I need from home, just so a lower middle class can take two weeks off!
