Summary: Worth the money as you never know what you'll get as the whales aren't paid performers! :) We did see several whales, well at least their tops, nothing much more than that, but it is what it is. Reed, our purser, and Tank, the captain, did a nice job of chasing the whales we encountered to see if we would see more before they left the area. They did what they could, and Tank filled us in with marine life. All worthwhile. NOTE: If you suffer from motion sickness, as does my wife, this is probably not the adventure you want to endure. You travel more than 40 minutes bouncing on the open seas, just to get to where the whales roam. Be forewarned.
