Summary:
This was awesome! I have always wanted to white water raft, the chance came up and I did it. The staff here were excellent. The rapids were incredible, especially the last one. Our guide, Bobby was very entertaining and was awesome guiding our raft. I will never forget this experience. If you are thinking about going white water rafting near Portland, I highly recommend this company. Thank you, Wet Planet Rafting for a most excellent day.

I was pretty nervous leading up to our event but the intro/safety pitches by Steve before we launched calmed my head 100%. Derek took us from there and was FANTASTIC. He had the knowledge, skills, sense of humor, and care to make our experience exceptional. The ratio of white water to quiet float time was spot on. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day-thank you!!

Summary:
we had a fantastic experience with Wet Planet! our guide Derrick made us feel comfortable, capable and made sure everyone was safe and had a great time. There was plenty of downtime to float and enjoy the scenery between rapids and the paddling is not so challenging that it takes away the fun of the experience. Expect a 15 min hike along the river mid way through the trip - cold feet and wet booties make it a bit more of a challenge to navigate the uneven terrain. The gear was comfortable and kept us plenty warm, there are extra layers if you need them and the guides get you outfitted effortlessly. Expect to get wet and be submerged for the final drop at Husum falls - it’s optional but totally worth it. The photos came out great - be sure to tip your guide and the photographer! We were thrilled with the whole experience!
